Shipping Administrator & Supply Chain Operational Support

Your mission

In this role, you take on a varied and operational position within the supply chain, where you temporarily support different administrative and logistical processes. You ensure a smooth flow of goods, information, and communication, contributing to the efficient functioning of shipping, purchasing, and sales support.

Your responsibilities:

• Follow up on inbound and outbound shipments, including document checks and system processing
• Organize and prepare transports and related shipping documentation
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers
• Support purchasing processes and follow up on orders and deliveries
• Anticipate shortages and contribute to solutions within the supply chain
• Process and follow up on customer orders in SAP and generate order confirmations
• Ensure clear and efficient communication with customers regarding questions or changes
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners (carriers, suppliers, customers)
• Identify bottlenecks and proactively contribute to improvements

Your Qualifications 

For this role, we are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented professional with a strong interest in supply chain and logistics processes. You feel comfortable in a dynamic environment, can switch quickly between tasks, and take ownership of your responsibilities.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or equivalent through experience
• First experience in logistics, supply chain, or shipping is a plus
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is a strong asset
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Stress-resistant and able to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and able to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Customer-oriented and solution-driven
